What is it?
The Freestyle Libre 14 Day System is a continuous glucose monitoring system (CGM), that uses a handheld reader and a sensor worn on the back of the upper arm.
How does it work
The sensor uses a thin, flexible filament inserted just under the skin to measure glucose every minute, the sensor last for up to 14 days!
How to use it?
Once you have placed the sensor in the back of your arm, wait 1 hour, then you can use the handheld reader to scan the sensor with a painless, one-second scan to replace fingersticks, no more pricked fingers, no more test strips, no more pain!

How often does the sensor makes glucose readings?
The FreeStyle Libre 14-day sensor automatically captures the glucose concentration every minute. It automatically records your glucose levels every 15 minutes, storing that data in a rolling 8 hour log.
How does the FreeStyle Libre CGM sensor attach to the arm?
The sensor is attached to the back of the upper arm with a simple, disposable device called an applicator. When the sensor is attached, a small (5mm) filament is inserted just under the skin and held in place with a small adhesive pad.
Can I exercises, shower or swim while wearing a FreeStyle Libre CGM sensor?
Yes you can!, the sensor is water resistant, it will work as long as it is not submerged more than 3 feet or kept underwater longer than 30 minutes at a time.
How long can the FreeStyle Libre 14 day sensor be worn?
The sensor is designed to provide glucose readings for up to 14 days.
How do you remove the sensor?
Pull up the edge of the adhesive that keeps your sensor attached to your skin. Slowly peel away from your skin in one motion. Note: Any remaining adhesive residue on the skin can be removed with warm soapy water or isopropyl alcohol.
